[After the chaos caused by Apep, Saleh finds himself in need of some rejuvination. Now that the experiment's over, and before the New Feather cycle starts, this would be the perfect time to get away for a bit.]

I'm not sure what caused the chaos after the experiment, but it has left me quite exhausted. I shall head into the mountains for a while, to take some time off. I shall return in time for the New Feather cycle, though.

I'm...tired, mostly. I plan on heading into the mountains for a few days. After everything that's happened this past month, I find myself craving the atmosphere.

I was searching for the cause of the destruction, and I came across Isaac. He was obviously under some sort of influence, though I don't know the cause. But he was clearly not himself. He was attacking Julia, so I had to stop him.

Yes...she's all right, at least in a physical sense. But she may need time for her heart to mend.
