[When Saleh wakes, his room feels...strangely empty. Even with everything back to normal, something still feels...off. It becomes clear within minutes. The room is empty, the silence deafening. No perky student to spice up his life.]
...Ewan?
[With barely a sound, he creeps around the room, looking for any traces. Ewan's belongings are nowhere to be found either. This can only mean one thing.]
[Saleh picks up his journal with a deep breath.]
For those who knew him...Ewan...my student...has returned to his own world. He was a growing, gifted mage, and...I am very proud of him.
[And then for the other thing on his mind. He owes an apology to a certain someone. Another instance of a love that turned out to be false. It only makes him think of Julia. While he isn't sure exactly what he felt, he knows that it was real.]
Miss Faith...I owe you an apology. My thoughts, my behavior...they were improper.
[He'll leave it at that and not drag it out. Short and to the point.]

Finally, she found a pen and wrote a reply.]
Sir,
I would prefer not to discuss matters such as these in so public a place.

[It was shameful enough that it had happened at all. But to hear it openly talked about through this book, something that anyone could hear. He pride bristled at the thought.]

...My apologies. It needs no further discussion. I just wanted to apologize is all.
However, if you wish to discuss it further, I would be open to meeting somewhere.

Then we will consider the matter resolved.
Faith Long
[The damage was done. Not only by her own behaviour during such an altered state but now by the public attention called to it. Any sort of reputation she might have had... Well, people would certainly assume, wouldn't they? Especially with his vague reference to his actions.
She could only thank God that she was not, at least, in England. This had not happened among her society, been heard by her friends there. Then, she would be utterly ruined.]

[That's...all he writes. Though a small part of him can't help but wonder if she has a thing against addressing him by name. He knows it's not because of how she feels about the altered state, because she's never called him by name beforehand either.]

Indeed.
[He...doesn’t really have anything to add.]
So...how are things with you? It’s been a while since we’ve last spoken.

[Only two? That's...pretty sad. Is he one of them?]
[Well, he wouldn’t complain if Silver didn’t consider him a friend. He was just thinking of how sad it was to have such few friends.]
...I cannot say I’ve met the others, but I am glad you consider me a friend.

Figuring yourself out?
[Hmm....]
What have you learned...if you don’t mind my asking?
[He can sort of agree, although he wouldn't have worded it that strongly.]
It's good that you've realized your errors, at least.
Do you feel stonger? Or do you still believe that kindness brings weakness?
I grieve with thee. It is difficult to lose one close who is close. Even in Luceti.
[Indeed... though it was fortuitous for individuals to be sent home... they were inevitably leaving someone behind. That someone would be without the needed support...]
[He blushes a little, thinking of all the praise that Ewan constantly showered upon him.]
Re: [Video]
Is there anyone with whom you can speak to about this?
Well...I’m not sure. I don’t know how many people knew Ewan. Eleytheria knew him, but I don’t know of anyone else...
Re: [Video]
Will you tell me about him?
[Spock was honestly curious.]
He’s...bright...energetic... He can be a handful to look after sometimes...
Re: [Video]
[Spock often wondered what Saleh would be like as a teacher.]

Re: [Video]

[He sounds uncertain, but seems to be considering the idea.]
Do you know anyone who would seek to learn this kind of magic?
Re: [Video]
As for who you would teach.... you can always ask. I am certain there are many magic users in Luceti who are seeking guidance.
And you have a perfect personality for teaching.
[Spock doesn't drop compliments like that all the time.]
I...don’t know. My routine keeps me busy enough as is. I may not have time to dedicate to teaching...
Re: [Video]
I see. Mister Saleh, if you are ever in need of company, please let me know. I am not adverse to your presence.
I'll consider it. Eleytheria is coming to visit. But I will consider your words.
Re: [Video]
That is well. It is my hope that you find solace in Eleytheria's company... and that you take comfort knowing that Ewan is now where he belongs.
[Voice]
[He pauses as if considering something. Recent events had made their bond stronger in a way... though he wasn't entirely sure what was real and what wasn't. He at least knew that Saleh was a friend though, and friends he would always try to help.]
Perhaps I should try to visit you more often.
[Voice]
[But given how long he's been here already, he's not counting on returning home anytime soon. As for the visit...]
If you would like, I would not object.
[Voice] --> [Action]
[He wouldn't normally do something like this but somehow he feels that it would be a nice gesture. He wants to do this. So after a while Saleh will be getting a knock on the door~]
[Action]
[Saleh waits quietly, meditating on his bed. He almost doesn't hear the door knocking when it comes, but after a moment, he'll get up to answer it.]
Hello...thank you for coming, Eleytheria...
[Action]
[Eley's still a little hesitant about stepping inside right away. Something about enclosed buildings just made him uneasy, though good company helped him get over that for the most part.]
[Action]
[The whole altered memory thing, and Ewan going home... Things could be worse, and they have been.]
...Won't you come in?
[Action]
[He steps inside at the prompt. After staying here with Ewan before he also realises just how empty it suddenly seems.
Oh, it's then Eley remembers he had something to give Saleh. He turns to his friend and offers him a bar of chocolate.]
Tsuzuki told me that this makes you feel better. It certainly seemed to help me when I was feeling... sad.
[Action]
[He takes the bar, looking at it curiously.]
...You mean in the emotional sense?
[Action]
I believe so. Perhaps it is just because I enjoyed the taste... or that I was with a friend. Perhaps it was a combination of both. Either way, I hope that it will help you to feel better.
[Action]
[Still, it would be rude to turn it down, so Saleh carefully unwraps the chocolate bar and begins to nibble on it.]
Perhaps you are right. It does me good to see you, Eleytheria. Thank you.
[Action]
[Perhaps he shouldn't bring this up now but he wants Saleh to understand why he's doing this. And that these feelings were genuine, even if their family bonds had been a lie in that other life.]
