050 [Voice/Action]

[After what feels like an eternity, Saleh finally awakens. His body feels like a deadweight, as he finds it incredibly difficult to move. Looking around, he manages to make out the entrance to the tunnels nearby. Does this mean it's over?]

[Slowly, he reaches into his robes and pulls out his journal, letting it fall open beside him. He takes a moment to gather what little strength he has to call out to the network.]

I...I need help...at the tunnels... Rydia...anyone... please...

[Hopefully that should do it. With that done, Saleh lets himself fall limp on the ground. As he waits, he attempts to take in the sights and sounds of the forest around him. His eyes are difficult to keep open, though, so he closes them softly, just taking in the sounds.]

[He opens his eyes as he hears her voice.]

[She doesn't say anything further and casts Warp, arriving at a place she remembers well. Immediately, she starts forward upon seeing him.]

Saleh!

[She quickly sends some healing magic his way, knowing it probably won't alleviate all but still hoping it helps to some degree.]

Rydia...you came. I'm glad...

Of course. I promised, didn't I?

[She moves to support him, slipping an arm under his shoulder.]

Can you stand?

[He draws his feet in a little bit, planting them firmly on the ground. However, he doesn't have the strength to push himself up very much...]

[Rydia does her best to haul him up, realizing that perhaps she should have brought Kain with her. Oh, well.]

I'll Warp you to your home, so you can get some rest.

[Yeah, Kain could lift him up like a rag doll. Still, Rydia's warp ability really comes in handy at times like these.]

That would be...helpful. Do you...know where I live...?

Alright, then. Hold on....

[She concentrates, and a moment later is standing just inside the building.]

[He looks up, looking straight at the door to his room. He's trying to put his feet on the ground, to help her as she helps him.]

There... [Weakly gesturing towards his room.]

[She nods and continues to support him on the way there.]

You're not sharing with anyone, right? Do you want me to check on you later?

[As they reach the door, Saleh reaches for the doorknob and weakly pushes the door open.]

[She holds it open for them as they enter, then glances around.]

Which room is yours?

[There's no thought in her mind to leave until she's seen him settled in his bed.]

[He points to the nearest room, not really caring which room he goes into. He's ready to get into bed as quickly as possible.]

[She guides him over, opening the door for him and heading to the bed.]

Do you need anything else? I can stick around to make some tea....

[As they reach the bed, Saleh uses all of his strength to get himself onto it.]

[She helps prop up his pillows, so that he can remain seated easily.]

[He'll just lean back against the pillows and relax. He sighs in relief now.]

[Rydia returns a little while later with a small try and a steaming cup of tea with lemon wedges, sugar, and extra hot water on the side. She sets it down on the nightstand carefully.]

Here. Take your time. Tea has to be savored, right?

[He fixes up his tea with a little lemon and sugar.]

Of course. I'm used to making tea at home. Perhaps one day I should let you try mine.

[She nods, flashing a brief but encouraging smile.]

I look forward to it. Just take it easy for now, though.

Yes...that was how our friendship began, is it not? I am proud of how we've developed throughout our time here.

What a way to start, wasn't it? But...you're right.

[Straightening, she glances around.]

Do you have everything else you need on hand? I don't want you to get up unless you must.
