Nearly six months have passed since I was brought here. I wonder what has become of Magvel in that time. Prince Ephraim was here when I arrived, but he was from the future. He said it was a good future, so has the crisis passed by now? Was I there when the crisis passed?
If people are brought here from different time points, how does that affect the time in our own worlds? Is it possible for us to be here and to be in their own worlds at the same time? Is it possible to know?
[He doesn't really expect it to be possible, but he would appreciate any input.]
[If anyone wishes to chat with him in person, he'll be sitting in front of the fountain in the plaza, letting the outdoor nature caress his senses. He takes in the sound of the fountain, and feels the cold air around him. He's used to the cold after living in the mountains throughout his life, and his cape keeps him warm enough.]

Hello, Saleh.

Rydia. Are you well?
no subject
I'm fine, just taking a break from the Welcome Center.
...I can't say I'm a fan of the cooler days, though.
no subject
Hmm, I have grown accustomed to the cold weather from living in the mountains.

I live in the mountains half the time, but it doesn't really help coping with the approaching winter. I guess living in a place where it didn't exist still affects me.
no subject
You have no winters in your world?
no subject
...may I?
[Meaning, can she join him at the fountain.]
Hopefully Kain won't get jealous...
[He can only imagine the underground being as cold as the mountains, except with no sunlight. He then responds to her request.]
Very well.
Only if Saleh behaved like AU!Vincent....
[She sits down, then, and stretches a bit.]
Quiet, isn't it? I thought we would have a flood of new people like last time, but there's barely been any.
Nah, but if Rydia got too attached to him...dot, dot, dot...
[He looks around a bit.]
How often do new people come here?
no subject
It used to be once a month, so when we began receiving New Feathers again, I thought that would again be the norm. Now...I'm not sure what will happen. Though if that means we'll have less people stranded in the middle of the woods during the winter, that can only be a good thing.

Even my own arrival was less than pleasant. I landed in the mountains, where I was forced to take shelter from the rain for three days before I could find my way to the village.

Are there others with warping abilities, to assist those who wind up in the mountains or at other greater distances from the village?
no subject
Yes, though I don't know the exact numbers. It's definitely something I'll want to bring up soon, though. Knowing who can do what in that regard would be extremely helpful.
no subject
And please contact me if I can be of any assistance. I spend most of my time in the forest, so I will aid any newcomers I chance upon.
no subject
I shall. Thank you, Saleh. I'm sure that will be of help whenever they decide to send us more newcomers.

Either way, the future in my world holds no interest for me. [And indeed, he's never going to ask the future people about it beyond the minor details he already knows.]
[Voice]
[He pauses at the second statement.]
Are you sure? Have you heard anything about your world's future?
[He's still debating whether to get involved, and whether it's better to know or not to know.]

[He trails off into his chain of thought again.]
There was an ongoing crisis in my world when I was brought here. There was one other person from my world, who was from my future. He said that it was a good one in the end…but as I said, that was nearly six months ago. So I do not know if the crisis has ended, or if the future he spoke of is still yet to come. And as you say, the future is not set in stone, so I still cannot help but fear…
Lady Myrrh was still missing. Prince Ephraim said he had been protecting her, and I would trust him to do so…but has he found her in my time period?
That is why I need to return home. To fulfill my duty, to find the ominous energy spreading from the south that is likely causing the monsters to appear, and to put a stop to it. Regardless what others from the future would say, I would need to see it for myself.

From what I've heard, if they return us home, we somehow start where we've left off. Which is an unusual prospect if you spend a lengthy amount of time here.
